Have you read any of these yet? For years I've had a boxful of Creasey's Baron books but I've not opened one of them. There was a TV series about these, too. Steve Forrest played John Mannering. The DVD set is in the Netflix catalog. Probably can see a few of the episodes over at YouTube. Still have yet to see any of those either.
I've been reading the Baron series in order so I have about a decade to go before I get to any of the novels pictured. I've limited myself (so far) mainly to three series: the Toff, Inspector West and the Baron. Of these, I've enjoyed the Baron novels the most. I like that the stories have had somewhat of a linear progression from book to book unlike, for example, the Toff series which can be read as stand alone novels (at least so far...).
I haven't seen any of the Baron series but would like to (despite the tv changes in the character's background). But first I have to catch up on the Avengers, the Saint, Danger Man, the Man from U.N.C.L.E. and...let's just say I might get aroind to it in another 10 years...
